Install

Linux

Navigate to the directory of your choice, and clone the repository :
$ cd ~/opt
$ git clone https://forge.clermont-universite.fr/git/libszdist

Note : if you get an error about a certificate, disable the following option :
$ git config --global http.sslverify "false"

By default, you are sitting on branch master, which tracks stable releases only.

First, compile and install the library :
$ cd libszdist/libszdist
$ qmake
$ make
$ sudo make install

The last command installs the library in /usr/local/lib.

Now, update the links to the shared libraries :
$ sudo ldconfig

Compile the conversion utility :
$ cd ../szconv
$ qmake
$ make
$ sudo make install

The last command installs the executable in /usr/local/bin.

Compile the inversion utility :
$ cd ../szdist
$ qmake
$ make
$ sudo make install

The last command installs the executable in /usr/local/bin.

Windows

Click the "Fichiers" tab and download the desired archive. Extract the archive, for example to My Documents\bin.

Add this directory to the PATH environment variable, so you can call the programs from anywhere.

Uninstall

Linux

From the compile directory, run :

$ sudo make uninstall

Windows

Delete the files extracted from the archive.
